Welcome to my backyard observatory. Well, it isn't really an observatory. Like most folks, I just have a telescope that I have to pack outside and set up. So technically, it's a portable observatory.

I live with my cat Frank in a one room off the grid cabin on a hill with a pretty good view of the night sky. I mostly concentrate on video astronomy, meteor showers, occultations, eclipses, satellites, and comets. But, I also dabble a little into astrophotography.

I'm also a storm spotter/chaser and ham radio operator. You can find a few of my weather pics, as well as other things about my life on my facebook page.
